Showdown for 'Tapas Seven' |

GERRY and Kate McCann may
be ordered back to Portugal
for a showdown with their “Tapas Seven” pals.
Algarve cops fear a visit to
Britain
this week may draw a blank.
So they are said to be considering setting up the confrontation between formal
suspects the McCanns and the pals who dined with them to iron out discrepancies
in statements about the night Maddie vanished.
A similar head-to-head took place in July between third “arguido” Robert Murat
and three Tapas Seven witnesses who claimed they saw him near Maddie’s room in
Praia da Luz.
Last night the McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “If they or their
friends are required to go to Portugal
they’ll be happy to comply.”
