Gerry and Kate McCann are "For us it's nothing more
important than to find our little girl
|
The parents of
Madeleine
McCann who has been missing for more than 3 years, want to
write a
book
about the search for their daughter. The documentation is supposed to
simply carry the title "Madeleine" and will be published on 28 April
2011, some four years after the disappearance of the child, the
publisher Trans World said on Sunday in London.
The proceeds from the sale will flow into the
fund
to search for "Maddie", which had been specially set up by the family.
British media had reported a few days ago that the money in the fund -
mostly donations from around the world - would be used up by next year.
Several publishers had fought for the rights to the book.
"The reason why I am writing this book is simple - to provide a
description of the truth," said Madeleine's mother
Kate McCann.
"For us there is nothing more important than to find our little girl."
Her husband
Gerry
said he hoped that the book could help with the solving of the case.
"Our hope is that people who have useful information - knowingly or
unknowingly - will report and share it with
our team."
The then nearly
four-year-old
Madeleine disappeared in 2007 from a
hotel room when the British family were on holiday in Portugal . The parents had
gone to eat that night in the
vicinity. A search operation highly
regarded by the media ensued. The case has not yet been solved. The
couple was accused several times, to have possibly feigned the
kidnapping of Madeleine's themselves, after they had found the child
dead in the apartment. The family denies it |
