'I Know Nothing About Missing Madeleine'

A man questioned by police searching for Madeleine McCann has told Sky News in
an exclusive interview he knew nothing about her disappearance.
Sergey Malinka said the first time he heard about Madeleine was "the
following day of the tragedy".
The 22-year-old said speculation about him had damaged his name and career.
He told Sky News' Amanda Walker his relationship with suspect Robert Murat was
"strictly professional".
"Police confirmed I am a witness and not a suspect," he said.
"Police know better who is the suspect and who is the witness."
The Russian was asked about allegations made against him in the Portuguese
media.
He said: "My criminal record is clean. I simply feel hurt by the media
describing me as inhuman without asking.
"It has damaged my name and my career. Those responsible will be held to
account."
Mr Malinka, who designed a website for Mr Murat, has been quizzed by police
searching for the four-year-old.
During a search of his house plain-clothes officers removed two hard drives, a
laptop and a black bin bag full of items and took them away for examination.
After being released he said he was "completely" innocent and had no
criminal record in any country.

Earlier, those involved in the search said the website set up to spread her
image across Europe had received five million
hits in 24 hours.
